Weakness: Too many cooks spoil the broth. They have too many pace-bowling options. Bhuvi, Natarajan, Jansen, Umran Malik, Romario, and Kartik Tyagi. The management has to figure out a way to fit all the pieces together. The opening option is also not looking formidable. They can give Glenn Phillips an opening chance.
Opportunities: The opportunities are for Umran Malik and Abdul Samad. The thing is that the Indian Cricket Team always looks for a good finisher. Hardik is never a consistent player due to his injuries, Jadeja is on and off with the bat. Abdul Samad can certainly try for that available spot.
Threats: The biggest threat is the possible absence of Kane Williamson. Williamson is facing an elbow injury that will take some time to recover.

Weakness: No evident weaknesses. However, both Warner and Shaw are having a weakness against the swinging ball. The number 3 batter is a lesser-known face. It can be Mandeep Singh or KS Bharat.
Opportunities: Many opportunities for Indian pacers. Sakariya and Khaleel Ahmed are the top left-arm pacers in the country. With them bringing the other dimension, they have an upper hand over the other bowlers.
Threats: Shardul Thakur leaks runs at times. Mitchell Marsh and his injury concern is something to ponder upon.
