Batting first, Lucknow Super Giants scored 235 runs in 20 overs and lost only two wickets. Amazing performances by Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran were seen, and they got support from Aiden Markram.
LSG’s Batting & Bowling Performances
- Lucknow Super Giants batted first and showed great form. Opener Aiden Markram scored 36 runs in 24 balls at a strike rate of 150, with two sixes and three fours. He gave a strong start.
- Mitchell Marsh played an outstanding innings of 117 runs in 64 balls at a strike rate of 182, hitting eight sixes and ten fours. His performance was superb.
- Then Nicholas Pooran scored 56 runs in 27 balls, with five sixes and four fours, batting at a strike rate of 207.
- Captain Rishabh Pant also batted and scored 16 runs in six balls, adding extra runs that helped LSG win.

Gujarat Titans’ Innings Highlights
When the Gujarat Titans came to bat, they started well. They had almost chased the score and came very close, but got all out for 202 runs in 20 overs, losing nine wickets.
If their openers, Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill, had played a bit better, they might have won later, but Shahrukh Khan gave his best with 57 runs. His effort stood out, but when he got out, the Gujarat Titans’ team fell apart, and they had no hope left to win.

- Sudharsan scored 21 runs in 16 balls with four fours. Captain Shubman Gill scored 35 runs in 20 balls with four fours at a strike rate of 175, but his wicket was taken by Abdul Samad off Avesh Khan’s bowling.
- Jos Buttler scored 33 runs in 18 balls. Sherfane Rutherford made 38 runs in 22 balls. Shah Rukh Khan scored 57 runs in 29 balls. As soon as Shahrukh Khan got out, everyone knew Gujarat wouldn’t reach the target because after him, all hopes were gone.

- For bowling, Arshad Khan took one wicket for the Gujarat Titans, and Sai Kishore took one wicket. Besides these two wickets, no other wickets fell for Lucknow Super Giants.
- Lucknow Super Giants didn’t sit idle in bowling either. Will O’Rourke bowled great, taking three wickets in four overs while giving 27 runs.
- Ayush Badoni was awesome, bowling just one over but taking two wickets and giving only four runs.
- Avesh Khan gave just one run in three overs and five balls, took two wickets, and finished offthe Gujarat Titans’ team.
