Chennai Super Kings Has performed well throughout the whole Season, their key strength was the spin attack and the opening pair of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway, who have consistently given CSK a good start and hence they had good runs on the board and bowlers defended those targets very well especially Ravindra Jadeja and Matheesha Pathirana.
How CSK won their Fifth Title:
Chennai Super Kings had played the IPL 2023 Finals against Gujarat Titans, who were the defending Champions, and there were in the top spot in the points table for the whole Season. There was some delay in the IPL 2023 Final match due to the Bad weather and rain.
Gujarat batted first and scored 214 runs in 20 overs with a blasting inning of 96 runs by Sai Sudharsan, whereas Chennai Super Kings came to bat in the second inning, but one more time, rain disturbed the match.
After the DLS method, CSK needs 171 runs in 15 overs. They chased the target and Won the Title, but all credit goes to Sir Ravindra Jadeja, who played such a beautiful shots in the last two balls.

Still, CSK needs some improvement:
Middle orders: Chennai Super Kings had good options in the middle overs, but still, they need Someone like Suryakumar Yadav, who can build Partnerships and hit some boundaries to build pressure on opponents.
CSK had Ben Stokes, who will be a good option for them in place of Moeen Ali or Maheesh Theekshana, as He can give more depth in the batting line-up and bowl some overs as well. If Ben Stokes is fit for the next Season, then this team will look more dangerous in the batting department.
Bowling: One of the main concerns for Chennai Super Kings this Season is their inexperienced bowling line-up. They had good options like Sisanda Magala and Ben Stokes but these players got injured at the start of the Season. MS Dhoni led his team into the IPL 2023 Playoffs and won the trophy as well.
