IPL 2023: RCB gave RR target of 190 runs, Virat kohli Out for Golden Duck whereas Faf and Maxwell both played well and made 127 runs partnership for 3rd wicket. Trent Boult and Sandeep Sharma took two wickets each.
RCB’ middle over flopped again and scored 33 runs only. Faf du Plessis and Maxwell scored 62 and 77 runs, respectively.
Faf and Maxwell Bombared Boundaries but Virat Kohli flops:
In the First Inning, Virat Kohli got out at a very fast ball of golden duck, and Shahbaz Ahmed also got out in 3rd over by scoring two runs only. Then Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell both start firing boundaries and put RR bowlers in tension.
They utilized the powerplay very effectively and scored 62 runs. Faf and Maxwell made an important partnership of 127 runs, more importantly, they made runs with good strike rates.
Glenn Maxwell Scored 62 runs with a strike rate of 175, and he hit four sixes and six four, whereas Faf scored another fifty, and this is his fifth of this season only in seven matches, he scored 67 runs and knocked two sixes and eight fours at a strike rate of 158.97.
Bangalore’s Middle-orders a huge concern:
After Glenn Maxwell got out in the 15th over, RCB was at 156 runs, but then once again, RCB’s middle over flops and played slow cricket or easily gave their wickets on stupid shots.
After the 15th over, RCB scored only 33 runs until the 20th over and lost wickets. Dinesh Karthik, who RCB gave the role of finisher, played slow cricket, didn’t try hitting big shots, and scored only 16 runs in 13 balls.
RR Bowlers nice Comeback:
Trent Boult has bowled well in the powerplay and gave only 24 runs in three overs, but in his last over, he gave 17 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal and R Ashwin were known for breaking partnerships but failed this time and gave so many runs. R Ashwin gave 36 runs and took one wicket.
Yuzvendra Chahal gave runs in the four-over spell and Keep RCB batters on backfoot and doesn’t gave any chance to comeback again in the game. Chahal has taken one wickets with an economy rate of 7.00.
Sandeep Sharma took two wickets in the 20th over and overall, he gave runs in his four spell and taken two wickets only.
