The TATA IPL 2023 is moving very fast. Most of the teams have played 3 games so far. The points table sees 6 teams tied at 4 points each. But the table toppers are Rajasthan Royals all thanks to their healthy point difference. They are further followed by KKR who also have a healthy point difference after their big victory against RCB. In the SRH VS PBKS game, SRH came out on top. But Shikhar Dhawan was awarded the “Player of the Match” award for his lone-warrior spirit. There is cut-throat competition in IPL 2023. This season is not expecting many “dead rubbers” or “pointless games” as each team is trying its best. Shikhar Dhawan has retained the orange cap and he just looks unstoppable. His innings of 99 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad were very impressive. Wickets kept tumbling at one end, but he chose to stick around. He reaped the benefits in the final overs. He took Umran Malik for 15+ runs in the penultimate over. Shikhar played the captain’s knock and showed a lot of maturities. Although he couldn’t score many runs in the last over, Natarajan was bowling exceptionally well. He was getting the Yorkers in the right areas.
Shikhar has managed to get to an unreal average of 225 in the 3 games that he has played this season. This number has been reached as he has been dismissed only on one occasion. In the other two games, he remained not out and carried his bat.
