If they win against KKR with a big margin and hope CSK loses their next match, Lucknow will have 17 points and be at second in the points table.

What if LSG and CSK both win their next match:

If LSG and CSK finish with 17 points, the result margins will become crucial as there is currently little difference between their net run rates(NRR). LSG has an NRR of 0.304 whereas CSK has an NRR of 0.381.

What if LSG lost their next match against KKR: 

Suppose Lucknow SuperGiants lose their next match against Kolkata Knight Riders. In that case, they will have 15 points then, they will hope for Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Chennai Super Kings to lose their upcoming matches because these teams have the potential to have 16 points or more in the points table, and they will directly qualifies for the playoffs.
