IND-W vs BAN-W 2023: Indian Women’s Team Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur lashes out at Umpiring after the 3rd ODI: India women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur expressed her strong displeasure with the umpiring during the third ODI against Bangladesh at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur..

The match ended in a tie after both teams were restricted to 225 runs in their respective 50 overs. India needed 3 runs to win in the last over but some tight bowling from Marufa Akter remain Bangladesh in this match.

The Player of the Match was Harleen Deol, who scored 77 run sin 108 balls whereas The Player of the Series was Fargana Hoque, she scored 107 runs in 160 balls in the last ODI match.

“It was pathetic umpiring,” Kaur said after the match. “I was clearly not out and it cost us the game. We should have won this match.” Kaur’s comments were echoed by her teammates. Smriti Mandhana said that the umpiring had been “very poor” throughout the series.

“It’s not about one or two decisions,” Mandhana said. “It’s been happening throughout the series. We’ve been complaining about it but nothing has been done.”

The umpiring in the third ODI has been the subject of much criticism on social media. Many fans have called for the match officials to be held accountable for their mistakes.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has not yet commented on the umpiring in the third ODI. However, the governing body is likely to review the match footage and take action if necessary.

The series between India and Bangladesh ended in a 1-1 draw. Bangladesh Women has shown excellent cricket throughout the series and played wonderfully with bat and ball.
