Zimbabwe will host Team India for a Five matches T20I series at home. Series is scheduled just after the T20I World Cup 2024 in West Indies and USA.
Last Time both the teams played an ODI series in 2022. Both the Teams have not announced their squad for the upcoming T20I series. On 6 February 2024, Zimbabwe Cricket and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule of T20I series between India and Zimbabwe.
India Tour of Zimbabwe will consist of Five T20I matches from 6th July 2024 to 14 July 2024 at Harare Sports Club Cricket Stadium, Zimbabwe. Harare Sports Club is going to host the all Five match of India Tour of Zimbabwe.
India will send Team B for the Zimbabwe Tour because This series was scheduled just after the T20 World Cup 2024 so we can expect that India will rest their key players for the Zimbabwe Tour. Last time both the teams played bilateral T20I series in 2016 in Zimbabwe, Team India won the series by 2-1.
Team India played its last T20I bilateral series against Afghanistan last month. India won the series by 3-0 under Rohit Sharma Captaincy. Currently India is playing a Five Matches Test series against England at home. India has no T20 bilateral series scheduled right before the T20 World Cup 2024.
