IND vs ZIM: We are just a few hours away from the start of the first game of the five-match T20I series between Zimbabwe and India. The series is all set to get underway on Saturday. This game is scheduled to take place at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. Shubman Gill is the captain of Team India, while Sikandar Raza will lead the home side. Both sides have some eye-catching players, and it is expected to be a great battle.
Shubman Gill is the most experienced player in the team, which is why he has been given the responsibility to lead the side. However, ahead of the first game, Zimbabwe’s leading pacer, Blessing Muzarabanii, warns the Indian captain and says that he is ready to face him and dismiss him to win the game for his team.
IND vs ZIM: “It’d be really nice to get him out” – Blessing Muzarabani on Shubman Gill ahead of 1st T20I
The first game will start at 4:30 p.m., as per Indian time. It will be a test for the young Indian team and also an opportunity to get international exposure. Zimbabwe’s pacer, Blessing Muzarabani, is also excited ahead of the series. In an interview with India Today, he said that he is looking forward to win matches for his team.
He also spoke about the Indian captain. He lauded Gill for whatever he has achieved so far and said that he is a big player. But the pacer also said that he is looking to get the Indian captain out to give his team a good start. He said, “Shubman Gill is actually a big name in the cricket world. But as for me, I just take every wicket as it comes, actually. So, I don’t really look at any players and want to make any bunnies or anything like that.”
The pacer is ready for the challenge and is looking to contribute as much as possible. He also said that he doesn’t look at the game and try to get them out. Muzarabani said, “So, I’m not really looking at the names. That’s just how I look at it. But, of course, Shubman is a good player. It’d be really nice to get him out.”
All five matches of the IND vs ZIM series will take place at Harare Sports Club. India have confirmed that Gill and Abhishek Sharma will open the innings for India, while Ruturaj Gaikwad will bat at No. 4. This is the totally new-looking team for India, which will play in the IND vs ZIM series.
