IND vs ENG 2024: No Virat Kohli As BCCI Announces Indian Team Squad for the Last Three Test Match | India vs England Test 2024: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announces the Team India squad for the last three test match against England. Indian Team star batter Virat Kohli is set to miss the remaining test matches against England. Akash Deep got the maiden call for the last three test matches in the series against England.
However, Two key players of the Indian Test Team KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja are likely to get added to the squad for the last three matches but they have yet to get clearance from the BCCI medical team. Both the players got injured while playing the first test match against England in Hyderabad.
In the new squad, Sarfaraz Khan, Rajat Patidar, Dhruv Jurel and Akash Deep are new players who got added to the team for the remaining three test matches against England. These players got a chance after some of the key players were injured and unavailable for the last three test matches in this series.
Virat Kohli will miss the remaining matches in test series against England:
However, Kohli wasn’t part of the first two test matches due to personal reasons and now, BCCI officially confirms that Virat Kohli will not be part of the last three test matches. Indian Star batter Virat Kohli was initially part of the Indian Test Team against England but due to some personal reasons, he wasn’t available for the whole test series against England.
The Young Bengal Pacer got a Maiden call for the test series against England:
The Young Bengal Pacer Akash Deep added to the last three test matches after having an excellent performance in the three-match unofficial test series against the England Lions. Akash Deep was part of India A in this three-match test series and he took 13 wickets in three test matches.
