This is only the fourth time this feat has been achieved, after England in 2022 and South Africa twice in 2015.

Markram’s phenomenal effort helped South Africa surpass the total of 400 – the first time such a high has been scored in this tournament and just the fifth time in the history of the Men’s Cricket World Cup.
