IND vs AUS: Meanwhile, India have bossed the Test match right from the time they were dismissed for 150 runs in the first innings. They dismissed Australia for 104 runs in the first innings and then declared their second innings for 487 runs. Team India set a target of 534 runs for the Australians to chase.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 161 runs, and his opening partner, KL Rahul, scored 77 runs. Virat Kohli managed to score his 81st international century and his 30th Test century. Australia were dismissed for 238 runs in the second inning.

Travis Head was the highest scorer of the Australian innings with 89 runs, and Mitchell Marsh scored 47 runs. Jasprit Bumrah has picked three wickets, and Mohammed Siraj has also picked three. Washington Sundar has picked up two wickets, and Nitish Kumar Reddy has picked up one wicket. Harshit Rana managed to scalp one wicket.

Jasprit Bumrah has been named the Man of the Match for his stunning effort with 8 wickets in the game, the second best following his own record on Australian soil. Washington Sundar ended the Aussie innings with the final two wickets of Starc and Nathan Lyon.

India extend their lead and reclaim their top position on the WTC points table, now with an increased PCT than the Aussies, who have slipped to the second position after losing the opening BGT test by a huge margin of 295 runs, the biggest ever by India in terms of win margin in the island nation.
