The Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 has ended with the Australian side clinching the Test series 3-1 and qualifying for the 2025 World Test Championship final. This impressive knock helped India clinch the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy by a margin of 295 runs.

2: Travis Head (152 runs off 160 balls)

Australian showman Travis Head, who has been in deadly form for the past few years, showcased his dominance with the bat. He played a stunning knock of 152 runs from 160 balls in Brisbane. He smashed 18 fours with a strike rate of 95.

Head’s inning was a masterclass in aggressive yet controlled batting, as he took on India’s bowlers with flair, pacing his innings beautifully while maintaining solid footwork and shot selection.

3: Travis Head (140 runs off 141 balls)

The Australian middle-order batter played another fabulous knock in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. This knock was crucial as Australia won the day-night Test match in Adelaide, maintaining their 100% win record for pink ball Tests at home.

Head played a counter-attacking knock of 140 runs, including 17 fours and 4 sixes.

One of the greatest Test batters of the current generation, Australian batter Steve Smith also finds himself on the list. The legendary batter played an iconic knock of 140 runs from 197 balls in the Boxing Day Test match at the MCG.

His impactful inning included 13 fours and 3 sixes. The Australian side was 3 down for 75 runs, and his knock powered the total to 445 runs.

5: Nitish Kumar Reddy (114 runs off 189 balls)

Young Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, who was handed his debut Test cap in Perth by his icon Virat Kohli, played several astonishing knocks; the best among them was in Melbourne. He scored his maiden Test century against the Australian bowling attack with his knock of 114 runs from 189 balls, which saved India from a terrible collapse while avoiding the follow-on.
