AUS vs IND: Jasprit Bumrah, who is regarded as one of the best fast bowlers in modern cricket, has been a go-to bowler for the Indian cricket team in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. His unique bowling action, deadly yorkers, and ability to bowl effectively make him a valuable asset for the team. Indian captain Rohit Sharma praised the ability of bowler Jasprit Bumrah.

Bumrah’s sharp variations and control over line and length give India a strategic advantage in the Australian conditions. In the first three Test matches, the fast bowler has taken a total of 21 wickets, showcasing his exceptional form and dominance over the Australian batting lineup.

Bumrah’s remarkable consistency and knack for picking up wickets at crucial junctures have made him a standout performer in the series. His ability to extract movement from the pitch and deliver unplayable deliveries has been pivotal in putting the opposition under pressure.

Rohit Sharma said, “It’s very easy not to say anything. He knows exactly what he’s doing, and how he operates is very plain and simple. He doesn’t try to complicate things with his own stuff and keeps it nice and simple. He’s got so much belief in his own skillset that there’s not much discussion needed with him.”

The Indian captain added, “I’ve been watching him for a long time and have captained him for a long time. So, I know what he’s trying to do. It makes it easier for me not to think too much while he’s bowling, only because he’s so clear in his mind. Whether he gets wickets or he doesn’t, he’s so confident and that in return gives me more confidence during the game and lets me know that there’s nothing much for me too add.”

The series is tied at 1-1, with two remaining Test matches to be played in Melbourne and Sydney, respectively. Both teams are gearing up for an intense battle as they aim to gain the upper hand in the closely contested series. The winner of the series is set to qualify for the 2025 World Test championship final.
