Sri Lanka’s batters showed positive intent and started an aggressive game from the first over to dominate Pakistan’s Pacers, and they played phenomenally. Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama made a crucial partnership of 100 runs for the 3rd wicket.
Kusal Mendis played a match-winning knock of 91 runs; hence, Sri Lanka won the match at the last ball of the second inning as they needed only two runs.
