Who will win the Asia Cup 2022?

Looking at all the aspects of Asia Cup 2022 tournaments, Australia all-rounder Shane Watson has expressed his probabilities for a match winner in this review.

Watson:
“My predicted winner is India,” Watson told Sanjana Ganesan on The ICC Review. “They’re so strong and depending on what the conditions are, they adapt easily to conditions.”

When quizzed on the biggest threat to India’s success, Watson was quick to pick arch-rivals Pakistan and said the winner of the India-Pakistan clash – on 28 August – would go on to win the tournament.

“That first game is going to be very special to watch because Pakistan has full belief now that they can beat this Indian team,” said Watson. “I think, really, whoever wins that game is going to go on and win the Asia Cup.

“[But] I’ve just got a feeling India [will win the tournament]. They’ve got so much firepower all the way through their batting order, so it’s going to be hard to be able to contain them.”

Australia all-rounder Shane Watson discussed Virat Kohli

Australia all-rounder Shane Watson discussed something about Virat Kohli’s return to the Asia Cup after more than months and said that Virat’s last match was played in England in the international game on 17th July.
This issue was in the news a lot due to the poor form of the legendary top-order batsman at present. Due to this Virat Kohli had to face problems.

KL Rahul Said:

“We don’t really give much importance to the comments,” said KL Rahul. “Everyone has their own opinion but it doesn’t really affect a player, especially a world-class player like Virat obviously be affected by what people are saying on the outside.

Virat Kohli worked hard in the break
“He’s had a little bit of a break and he’s working on his game. The standards that he has set for himself, he has not been able to get but I am sure he is hungry as well to win matches for the country. That’s what he has done throughout his career – his mindset is always to win matches for his country.

“I am sure that good things will happen and we all eagerly want Virat to get back the Virat Kohli form. We are not worried as an Indian team.

“Our aim is by the World Cup, if all batters are in good knick and as bowlers, they have played enough matches, that is our plan and that’s what we will look to do as a team.”
