IPL 2025: The Punjab Kings have sealed their spot in Qualifier 1, as they won the final group stage game against the Mumbai Indians, as both teams were in the quest for a spot in the top two after having made it to the knockouts already.
Gujarat Titans are now placed in the 2nd position with 18 points; however, with 19 points, the Punjab Kings have sealed the top spot, and RCB remain the only side that stands a chance to make it to the top 2 in Qualifier 1, to face the Punjab Kings in the first playoff game.
The Orange Cap holder of the season, Sai Sudharsan, played his last group-stage match for the Titans last day while he was followed by Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian skipper, who also played a good hand in MI’s last match against the Punjab Kings, as they could not advance to the top 2 spots.
