2025 ICC Champions Trophy: Leading wicket-takers for India in white-ball ICC events:
1. Mohammed Shami – 74 Wickets
Shami rose to the top of the elite list with a 5-wicket haul in the opening 2025 ICC Champions Trophy match against Bangladesh. This was Shami’s 6th 5-wicket haul and 5th in ICC events. Shami also completed 60 wickets in just 19 games in the 50-overs ICC games for India, with 33 games overall to have 74, the most ICC wickets for the Men in Blue.
2. Zaheer Khan—71 Wickets

India’s legendary fast bowler, Zaheer Khan, emerged as their most special performer, having starred in nearly 44 ICC games. He amassed 59 wickets in the 50-over formats, while the rest of the wickets came in the shortest format of the game.
3. Jasprit Bumrah—68 Wickets
Indian speedster and the world’s current most feared bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, has picked 68 matches in the World Cups and T20 World Cups combined in a career of just 42 games at the most remarkable average ever by any bowler, both in India and among overseas bowlers as well.
4. Ravindra Jadeja—65 wickets
Ravindra Jadeja has nearly starred in 68 games in different ICC events, which seems legendary as he picked 43 wickets in the ODI ICC events in just 32 matches while the remaining games were part of the 7 T20 World Cups he has played for India in his long career.
5. Ravichandran Ashwin—59 wickets

The retired legend Ravichandran Ashwin, who is often regarded as the greatest player from India in the longest format of the game, has also picked several wickets in ICC events, which included mostly the 50-over games. Ashwin surpassed Kumble and Srinath to have the 5th most wickets for India in ICC events.
