Duncan Edwards was a Brit that played for this illustrious club from 1953-1958. During these 5 years, Duncan made 177 appearances for the club. He played for the English team as well and he was managed by Matt Busby. In an unfortunate turn of events in the career of the bright 21-year-old, he succumbed to the injuries he took from the Munich Plane Crash. In this crash, Duncan lost 7 of his teammates on the spot. Most of the players that played alongside him regard him as an authoritative figure on the pitch. Duncan was a player with great footwork and promoted fitness. He made the game look magical.
Paul Scholes: –
Renowned for great, pin-point passes and scoring screamers, Paul was a gift from Man United to the footballing world. Scholes played for the Red Devils for 22 long years from 1991 to 2013. He played along with the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Ronaldo, Giggs, and Wayne Rooney. He currently is the co-owner of the football club Salford City. For the Red Devils, Scholes played over 700 appearances and scored more than 150 goals along with 200+ assists. He also represented the English national team 66 times. He was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in the year 2008.

Bobby was one player who survived the Munich Crash. By sheer luck, he was safe and eventually contributed to resurrecting the club. He played most of his club games for Manchester United. Best played for Manchester United from 1963 to 1974. He is Irish and is renowned for his dribbling skills. It is often said that Best could dribble past 3-4 defenders with his pace and ball control. He stood 6th in the competition for being “Best footballer of the century”. George played in a total of 586 professional games while scoring 207 goals. He debuted at the age of 17 for the Reds and was regarded as a genius on-field.

Ryan Giggs is undoubtedly the greatest Red Devil to have played. Currently is the co-owner of Salford City FC alongside Paul Scholes, Giggs has dedicated his life to the sport. He is the all-time leading player to appear in most games for the Devils. He has made over 1000 professional football appearances. Giggs played a humongous 963 game for United and scored a total of 114 goals.
