The Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich faced a major setback, losing their 11-year commandment over the title after losing to Bayer Leverkusen in the latest edition. The German giants look to reinforce their squad to re-establish them among the favourites of Europe.

Since then, the German side has had an active go in the transfer market, and their approach has been one-handedly productive, in a busy summer in the hunt for big as well as useful signings. Bayern has already found success as they have included the likes of English defender Eric Dier from his Tottenham loan and another major signing from the EPL, signing, Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise for the summer.

With a falling midfield and some players who have attained age, Bayern look to consolidate their midfield with more versatile players. In the quest for one, they have been trying to include Fulham midfield sensation Joao Palhinha for over a year now.

The German giants have now finally signed the Portuguese midfielder for a striking deal of £42.3 with a probable addition of £4.2, in a four year contract until 2028. The move from Fulham to Bayern is great for the career of the Portuguese midfielder.

Even when Palhinha was asked about this move, he expressed how happy he was to join one of the elite clubs in Europe, and it seemed to be a dream come true. He is known for his defensive prowess, tactical brilliance, and dominance in offensive positions.

After moving to Fulham and spending two seasons with them, he has done the best he could to earn a name big enough to land himself among the top clubs in the Bundesliga. Bayern will probably be looking at him as a prospect even if he adds only peaks to his career graph after this move.
