Leipzig looking to outbid Bundesliga and PL giants who are forerunners for the PSG star Xavi Simons

Alongside several big-time Premier League clubs with the likes of Manchester United and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich looking to target the Dutch central midfielder. They have been showing interest in the PSG star for years now.

Xavi Simons’ future at Paris Saint-Germain seems uncertain, with the Dutch star showing sheer interest in extending his stay at the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig. The loaned star hopes to have an even more crucial role in the team, with Spanish attacking midfielder Dani Olmo making a possible move back to his youth club, FC Barcelona.

However, this development is not landing great with the PL greats Man U or the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich as both clubs have been in the hunt for PSG talent. If reports from Sky Sport source, Plettenberg is to be believed, Simons never intended to return to PSG, as his target is to play in the PL maybe in the future in 2025.


Simons has shown desire as well as determination to remain with RB Leipzig, while Benjamin Quarez confirms that Simons is all set to join back at RB Leipzig on a year’s loan, allowing PSG to have full control and the entire transfer fee next summer if he makes a future move to the PL.

The Dutch national’s real goal is to feature for teams in the English Premier League, as he sights a future move in 2025, and this news is of great interest to Manchester United. With a return to Leipzig, manager Rose pointed to the player’s extreme potential and his future responsibilities at the Bundesliga.

He added that Xavi Simons had a brilliant season last time, and while he grows at the club he can also foresee the next step at some point. However, he made it clear that their are still some conversations left between the two teams on both sides of the extended contract.
