Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese giant is back to where he belongs. The stadium of Old Trafford is all set to feature this legend!! As reported by several newsletters and one of the most reliant sources in the footballing world, Fabrizio Romaro; Manchester United has acquired the 36-year-old for 13 million pounds as his Juve contract had ended. Ronaldo’s transfer to Man United: – 

The initial reports that filled social media were about Ronaldo, notifying Juventus that he wants to leave. As Ronaldo’s contract was up till last season, he made himself unavailable for the forthcoming games of Juventus. Ronaldo’s agent initially was striking deals with both the Manchester clubs. It was the financial status of these clubs that make it possible to sign up Ronaldo.

At 7 pm on the 27th of August IST, Fabrizio reported that Man City have withdrawn their contention to sign Ronaldo. Manchester United was “confident” enough to bag a contract for their star. Cristiano too told Jorge that he is “open to joining” Manchester united and that the contract can be up to June 2023.  

At 9 pm on 27th of August IST, the Sports Journalist posted these write-ups on his Instagram handle, 

“Cristiano Ronaldo back to Manchester United, done deal and HERE WE GO! The agreement has been completed now, OFFICIAL.  
– Manchester United will pay around €20m plus add ons to Juventus for Cristiano as a fee.  
– Cristiano has accepted the Man United contract bid and he’s now set to sign paperwork once everything will be completed. 
– Medical to be scheduled in the next hours, CR7 is now in Lisbon to complete his move.  
– Manchester City has left the negotiations in the last hours. To be clear: never agreed on personal terms, never sent any official bid to Juventus. Only verbal talks and NO agreement so City are out.”
