This is the most anticipated time for football players as well as football fans, as everyone tries to see their favourite players in their favourite clubs around the world. The football transfer news window is live, as two big European clubs, Chelsea and Napoli, seem to be in talks about the former club’s flopped forward.

Undoubtedly, a few years ago, Romelu Lukaku was considered one of the finest strikers in the world; however, now that it’s been several seasons, he has proved to be a disaster investment at Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku has often shown interest in joining back with Antonio Conte, with whom he has played for Chelsea and Inter Milan. For his current side, Napoli is looking to bring in a striker as early as possible, which might be before July 25—that is, before the pre-season starts.

This urge has been the result of Victor Osimhen’s probable transfer, which Napoli will have to quicken to revive their transfer funds in order to squire any other player with the likes of Lukaku as well.

Lukaku has been provided with a lucrative three-year offer at Napoli by Conte with a $7 million annual wage; however, what comes midway between them is the financial gap between Chelsea’s demand of $38 million and Napoli’s offer of $27 million.

Osimhen’s departure has been long stalled, as the electrifying Nigerian forward has been one of the top priority players for immensely popular clubs like Barcelona, Arsenal, and also PSG. PSG will have to find a replacement for the outgoing Kylian Mbappe, who has signed for Real Madrid.

With a $142 million release clause, the Napoli striker has been offered a lucrative 5-year deal by the Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain. Napoli, due to their financial strain, cannot keep up with Osimhen, and hence PSG has made a $93 million offer to Club Napoli, which will be initially denied but will pave the way for further negotiations between the Seria A and Ligue 1 giants.
