FC Barcelona is one club that is genuinely struggling financially. The situation is so grim that the club has to rent out its stadium for weddings and DJ parties to make ends meet. The Covid-19 pandemic also did not help them a lot. But still, with players taking a pay cut and the managers working for less money, the club has made good transfers this season. Barcelona is a team to have one of the best transfer windows. Here is an in-depth look:

Jules Kounde the big defender from France was always keen on joining FC Barcelona. He has even gone on to say that FC Barcelona happens to be his dream club. Konde was one of the top defenders last season. His defensive skills are crisp. His interceptions are precise and his big frame helps him get over the strikers to win the aerial duals. He also has a good vision. Barcelona got this player from Sevilla.

Robert Lewandowski, the Polish goal machine was bought by FC Barcelona this season. Playing for FC Bayern Munich, Lewandowski looked unstoppable. He had a fixed routing of scoring goals in every game. He is a strike force, to say the least. It will be great to see a legend of the game in the Barca blue. Also, a lot of the football community will start to resonate with Barcelona once again as Lewandowski is one of the most decorated players in the game.

Miralem Pjanic Loan Tenure Ends:

Miralem Pjanic’s loan tenure also ends this season. He is currently associated with Besiktas and this season he will be back at Barcelona. But if reports are to be believed, FC Nice from Ligue 1 is interested to get hold of Pjanic either on loan or a full-time base. Pjanic would prove fruitful for Barcelona as he will help in grooming the younger mid-fielders like Pedri.

Andreas Christensen from Liverpool to FC Barcelona:

Andreas Christensen, the Danish center back has also joined FCB. He has a contract till 2026. He earlier played for Chelsea in the Premier League. He was also a part of the Champions League winning campaign. Andreas is an ideal replacement for someone like a Umititi but he has to perform to potential. His huge frame helps his game.

Other Transfers:

  • Rafinha from Leeds United to FC Barcelona.
  • Phillipe Coutinho from Aston Villa FC to FC Barcelona.
