India Women’s National Cricket Team won the high-stakes World Cup 2025 match against Pakistan Women’s National Cricket Team by 88 runs at R. Premadasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This was India Women’s 12 consecutive victory against Pakistan in ODI cricket, and now, it’s 12-0 in head-to-head stats. Pakistan could have played better cricket, especially with the bat; the target was 248 runs only.
The Player of the match was Kranti Goud, she took three wickets in her 10 overs spell and gave only 20 runs. Kranti bowled really well in the powerplay and took some crucial wickets, which helped the Indian team to get early momentum and put pressure on Pakistan Women’s. It was a dominating performance by India Women’s against Pakistan in Colombo.
Pakistan’s batting was average in this crucial game against India; only three players crossed the 10+ runs mark. Sidra Ameen was the only batter who stood on the crease and fought alone against India’s strong bowling. Sidra scored 81 runs in 106, she played good cricketing shots, and kept rotating the strike.

Pakistan Women won the toss and chose to field first in match no. 6 of Women’s World Cup 2025. Pratika Rawal and Smirit Mandhana opened for the Indian team and gave a good start to the team, playing some big shots and capitalizing on the powerplay fully. However, Smriti Mandhana got out by scoring just 23 runs, whereas Pratika Rawal was also able to make 31 off 27 balls.
But, after them, Harleem Doel took charge, and she played a fantastic innings of 46 runs. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur got out quite early; she was able to score only 19 runs. Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh led the Indian team to the decent target of 247 by scoring 32 and 35 runs, respectively.
Diana Baig bowled quite well, and she got four wickets whereas skipper Fatima and Sadia Iqbal took two wickets each.
