WATCH: Brian Lara & Carl Hooper in Tears As West Indies Defeated Australia in Gabba | Australia vs West Indies Test 2024: West Indies won the second and last test match of the two-match test series against Australia by 8 runs at Brisbane Cricket Ground (The Gabba). This was West Indies first win in Australia since 1997 therefore, The Legendary Caribbean Players Brian Lara and Carl Hooper were in tears.
After defeating Australia on Day 4 at The Gabba will always be a historic day for the West Indies Cricket Team. With this, All the Caribbean Players and former legends were overwhelmed with joy and tears against the historic victory against the Australian Team in Australia. The Two-match test series between West Indies and Australia was tied by 1-1.
The Unexpected Performance by Shamar Joseph led West Indies to victory in the second test match in Brisbane. Joseph took eight wickets in this match whereas Alzarri Joseph took six wickets and they single-handedly took the game for West Indies. West Indies didn’t perform well with the bat in this match, especially in the second inning but the Pacers performed exceptionally.

The Legends of West Indies Cricket Brian Lara and Carl Hooper were unable to control their emotions and both the legends were caught with tears of joy after West Indies defeated Australia in Brisbane Cricket Ground (The Gabba). This Emotional movement was captured after the match and it went viral over the social media platforms.
Shamar Joseph & Alzarri Joseph Heroic Performances:
In the Second Test Match at Brisbane Cricket Ground, West Indies batted first and they made 311 runs on the scoreboard whereas Australia scored 289 runs in their first inning. Alzarri Joseph and Kemar Roach took four wickets in this inning whereas Shamar Joseh was able to get only a single wicket.
However, West Indies scored only 193 runs in their second inning and gave Australia a target of 215 runs. But, Australia failed to chase the target in their home conditions as they got all out by scoring just 207 runs. Australian Opener Steve Smith played a fantastic inning of 91 runs and stood till last but didn’t get support from the other end otherwise results might have been different.
Shamar Joseph bowled exceptionally well in the second inning as he took seven wickets and didn’t lead Australian batters to come back in the game. All collective performances by the West Indies Cricket Team led them to a historic victory against Australia.
