The January transfer window of the football world has many transfer updates in store. There are many surprising transfers and many that were expected. There has been a tough tussle among the clubs to bag some of the best players in the world. The best updates are Mykhaylo Mudryk moving to Chelsea and Memphis Depay moving to Athletico Madrid. Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk is one of the top Transfer Updates:
Mykhaylo Mudryk, the sensation from Ukraine is coming to England. Shakthar has agreed to his transfer to Chelsea. The Blues have bought the Ukrainian striker for a whopping 100 million pounds. Arsenal was another club in the race but Chelsea came in at the last moment and grabbed Mudryk. They earlier were trying to get hold of Nunez but Liverpool snatched him from them. But this time, Chelsea was quick. The offer was immediately agreed to by Shakthar as it was 30 million more than Arsenal. Mykhaylo is a strongly built player and has unreal scoring abilities. He is at times compared to Haaland.
Memphis Depay to Athletico Madrid:
Memphis Depay, the Dutch sensation who is aging as a fine wine has moved to Athletico Madrid. The Spanish giants got him from Barcelona. Once a top player on the globe, Depay was now transferred for 3 to 4 million pounds, which is comparatively less for a player of that class and stature. Depay will be playing as their backup striker as Griezmann is holding that position very safely. The tenure of the deal is till June 2025.
Lionel Messi’s Contract Extension at PSG is one of the best Transfer Updates:
Lionel Messi has got a contract extension at PSG. The world cup winner was expected to come to Barcelona for one last time, but PSG made him another lucrative offer. With that being said, it is always Leo’s choice and at PSG he certainly has a shot at the UCL. Lionel Messi was expected to get offers from the Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, but he got nothing negotiable. So, he agreed with the French club’s offer.
