The article contains a highlight of Indian players with 11000+ runs in ODIs, including a recent milestone for Indian skipper Rohit Sharma.

ODI cricket has been started for not more than 50 years, and ever since the initial years, India has named themselves among the favourites, since they were only the second team in the history of the format to lift the World Cup back in 1983, defeating the two-time defending champions, the West Indies.

This marked a revolution in Indian cricket as players broke the shackles of red-ball cricket and evolved to be the best in limited-overs formats. Especially in modern times, past the 2000s, several great Indian players have made immense impacts in limited-overs cricket with their terrific records.

Among them, current Indian skipper and modern-day great Rohit Sharma registered himself as one of the greatest in the history of ODI cricket, as he became only the fourth Indian batter with 11000+ runs. He reached the milestone in the game against Bangladesh during the Champions Trophy.
