IND vs ENG: Indian spinners shine in the final test match against England in Dharamshala: In the final and fifth Test match between India and England at the Dharamshala stadium, Kuldeep displayed his spin bowling skills by destroying the England top order in the first innings and taking five wickets.
The list of impressive wickets taken by Kuldeep included Jack Crawley (79), Ben Duckett (27), Ollie Pope (11) and Ben Stokes (0). This remarkable performance marked Kuldeep’s fourth five-wicket haul in Test cricket, demonstrating his effectiveness as the leading wicket-taker for the Indian team.
This was Kuldeep’s third wicket of the day after dismissing Duckett and Pope in the morning session. This started a sudden and significant collapse for England as Bairstow fell to Kuldeep a few overs later before Joe Root was trapped LBW by Ravindra Jadeja in the next over.
Kuldeep further intensified England’s struggle by dismissing Stoke LBW, turning their strong position of 175/3 into a challenging score of 175/6.
Ravichandran Ashwin 100th Test Match Completed
Ravichandran Ashwin, playing his 100th Test, fulfilled his responsibility of bowling conscientiously and took important wickets for his team, dismissing Tom Hartley and Mark Wood in a quick session, giving the visitors a commanding lead till the tea break. The score became 194/8. Despite a useful contribution from Ben Foakes, who took the score past 200, England were eventually all out for 218 runs in 57.4 overs.
