India’s Test Squad against Bangladesh

Indian captain Rohit Sharma injured his left thumb while playing against Bangladesh. Rohit met a specialist in Mumbai for his thumb injury, which he suffered during the second ODI against Bangladesh.

He has been advised on the proper management of the injury, and skipper Rohit Sharma will be unavailable for the first Test against Bangladesh. The BCCI medical team will take a call on his availability for the second and final test later. The all India Senior Selection Committee named Abhimanyu Easwaran as his replacement for the first Test.

Fast bowler Mohd. Shami and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja are yet to fully recover from their shoulder and knee injuries, and have been ruled out of the Test series.

The selectors have named Navdeep Saini and Saurabh Kumar in place of Shami and Jadeja, respectively. The selection committee has also included fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat in India’s squad for the Test series.

Ishaan Kishan’s aggression was seen on the third day of the ODI match against Bangladesh.

With this inning, he becomes the fourth Indian to score a double century and only the seventh player in history to do so in ODI cricket. Ishan Kishan, the boy from Jharkhand has ensured that his name will go down in the history books of Indian Cricket. He has become the 4th Indian to score a double hundred in an ODI. His name will be registered in the record books alongside Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, and Rohit Sharma. The day began like any other normal one. Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed pretty early. When Dhawan went back the Indians had scored only 15 runs. On the other hand, Ishan was batting on a different wicket altogether.
