The TATA IPL 2023 season just got bigger and better. The Ashes 2023 series is expected to take place after the TATA IPL 2023 season. Based on these lines earlier, the Australia and England players were expected to miss out on the last or final leg of the world’s toughest T20 league. Sam Curran, Cameron Green, Ben Stokes, and even Jofra Archer! But an update says that it won’t be the case now. Here is a look at the same:
Australia and England Players to be Available for Entire TATA IPL 2023 Season:
The update has come just before the auction. The BCCI made sure every franchise had details about the availability of players before they go into the auction so that the teams can effectively analyze and make plans. In its statement, the BCCI said, “Full Availability. Players selected for the ODI series against Afghanistan will be available from 30 March. Players playing final of the Sheffield Shield to be available from 28 March. About Bangladeshi players; players selected for Ireland series will be available from 8 April to 1 May.”
Ben Stokes, Sam Curran, and Cameron Green are Fully Available for TATA IPL 2023:
Ben Stokes, the all-rounder and the “poster boy” of England cricket will be fully available for the TATA IPL 2023. He will be going into the IPL 2023 Auction. The Sunrisers Hyderabad have a huge purse and will be keen on bagging Ben Stokes. They can get him outright if they try to keep aside a significant amount of money.
On the other hand, Sam Curran will also be available. Like his test skipper, Sam is also expected to be a part of the IPL for the entire season. The same applies to their Australian opponent Cameron Green. All of these players are in the auction and their availability is a factor in deciding their price.
