In the 3rd match of the T20I world cup, the Bangladesh team defeated Australia by 10 runs in Dhaka on Friday to seal a historical first-ever series win above Australia in any cricket format. A Confident Bangladeshi team entered the field won the toss and chose to bat first when having the winning crown of the first two T20Is against Australia.
However, Australia is out on 127. Australian debutant Nathan Ellis impressed the crowd in the first round as he picked up a hat-trick in the final over and confined Bangladesh’s score to below 130.
The Bangladeshi captain Mahmudullah hero of the series he scored an impressive half-century. Bangladesh went into the 2nd half, self-confident that they had a wonderful opportunity at winning the third T20I.
The Australian batting began well but would soon be troubled by a superb spell from Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman. Rahman allowed just nine runs in the four overs he bowled. The Bangladeshi spinners too influenced their bit containing the Aussie batters and creating history for their team.
