T20 World Cup 2024 Captain List, Check Out All 20 Captains Name List: The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is set to start on June 02, 2024, and the first match will be played between the host USA and Canada at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. All the 20 teams are preparing for the upcoming tournament but the main pillar of the team, the captain, will be looking to give their best and lead their respective team to victory.
USA and West Indies are the hosts of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 but most of the matches will be played in West Indies including the knockout games. Monank Patel and Rovman Powell will be leading the USA and West Indies in the upcoming tournament, both the players haven’t played any T20I match in recent times. However, most of the players of the West Indies were part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
All the Captains of 20 Teams in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will play a crucial role as their performance will highly reflect on the team’s performance in the tournament. But, All the teams will try their best to play collective cricket in the tournament to increase their chances of winning the tournament.
Rohit Sharma will be leading the Indian Team in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, he has done an excellent job as a captain for Team India in both bilateral series and ICC tournament. Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, India went to the ICC World Test Champions 2023 Final and played a dominating cricket in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 but unfortunately lost both the finals against Australia.
Australia are always the main contender to win the ICC Tournament not only because of one Captain but the team effort. However, Pat Cummins gave Australia two ICC trophies in 2023 but still Mitchell Marsh is going to captain the side in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Mitchell Marsh has phenomenal records in T20I cricket as compared to Pat Cummins which led CA (Cricket Australia) to take a bold decision.

All the 20 teams are divided into four groups and each group will have five teams in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. However, After the Group Stage, the top two teams from each group will move on to the Super 8 round in the tournament. After the Super 8 round, the Top 4 teams will get tickets for the knockout stage (Semi-final) and then, the final will be played on June 29.
