SA vs AUS 2023: South Africa announced the squad for T20I and ODI Series against Australia 2023: Dewald Brevis’s maiden call for ODI and T20I series: On 14 August 2023, Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced the 18-members squad for the T20I and ODI series against Australia, which was scheduled from 30 August to 17 September 2023 in South Africa.
South Africa will host Three-match T20I series against Australia from 30 August to 3 September 2023. The five-match ODI series was scheduled from 7 September to 17 September 2023.
Timba Bavuman will lead South Africa in the ODI series against Australia. Meanwhile, Steve Smith will lead Australia in the ODI Series. The ODI series is crucial for both teams to test their playing 11 before the World Cup 2023.Both the teams announced their possible, solid squad for the ODI series.
Aiden Markram will lead South Africa in the T20I series against Australia. Dewald Brevis will debut for South Africa in the Absence of Key players against Australia in the upcoming T20I series after getting selection in the senior team for ODI and T20I series. Brevis played outstandingly in Major League Cricket (MLC) 2023 for Mumbai, New York (MINY).
Cricket South Africa included uncapped player Dewald Brevis in the squad of South Africa as a middle-order batsman. Lungi Ngidi and Rassie Van der Dussen are back in the squad of South Africa after a long time.
Quinton de Kock, Heinrich Klaasen, Anrich Nortje, and Kagiso Rabada are rested from the T20I series but were a part of the ODI series. Gerald Coetzee and Donovan Fereira are called for the T20I series without Key players.
