The Duleep trophy has begun and the first round of the tournament has come to an end with India B and India C emerging as the champions. Several players from the India B squad are set to be released as they are picked for the Indian team for the 1st Test against Bangladesh.
The foremost of them being picked lies, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant, Yash Dayal and lastly Mukesh Kumar, as these players have reportedly left the squad of the Duleep Trophy to join the Indian side at Chepauk on 12th of September.
Indian T20I star, Rinku Singh has been called up to the Duleep Trophy 2024 tournament, A recent report from the Times of India suggests that Rinku might make a move to join the Easwaran-led India B.
They can restore their place in the second game as well as the 26-year-old was taking part in the UPT20 League, and he was seen captaining the Meerut Mavericks.
“My job is to work hard, and I am extremely delighted to have received the call for Duleep Trophy. When the teams were initially announced, I was not selected. I was disheartened because my responsibility is to put in the hard work which I am doing. Today, I feel even more elated as I am here to represent India B in the prestigious Duleep Trophy,” Rinku said as quoted by TOI
Rinku Singh will be the second player alongside Aqib Khan who will make it to the Duleep Trophy India B team, as these two will be fourth players alongside Dhruv Jurel and Yash Dayal. The UP Cricket Board, Ankit Chatterjee has already informed us that these two players have already left to compete in the Duleep Trophy.

The batter has scored 3000+ first-class runs, though he is largely known for his finishing roles in the shortest format of the game. Now Rinku has evolved to be a batter, who can also occasionally roll a hand over the ball, nowadays.
