PAK VS NZ 3rd T20I: New Zealand won the 3rd T20 international against Pakistan by four runs, all credit goes to Tom Latham, who played a fantastic knock of 64 runs, Daryl Mitchell scored 33 runs, and James Neesham picked three important wickets.
In the first Inning, New Zealand came to bat both Latham and Mitchell made a partnership of 65 runs. Latham played a match-winning knock of 64 runs, and Mitchell(33) and Chapman(16*) their team to set a total of 163.
In the second innings, Pakistan played poor cricket, only Iftikhar Ahmed played a good knock of 60 runs, and the rest of all showed bad performance. James Neesham bowled an excellent spell, he picked up two wickets of Pakistan and helped New Zealand to win the match.
Haris Rauf restricts New Zealand at 163:
Once again, Haris Rauf performed well, he took two important wickets and bowled well at an economy rate of 8.25 and hence restrict New Zealand at 163 runs.
From the other end, Shaheen Afridi with Harish Rauf take control of the game in Pakistan’s favour, Shaheen also picked two important wickets of NZ. No other Pakistan’s bowler performed in this match.
James Neesham outperformed with the ball:
James Neesham performed outstandingly with the ball, he took three crucial wickets of Pakistan batters. Neesham bowled well in this series and picked five wickets in three matches.
Adam Milne also took two wickets whereas Matt Henry has taken only one wicket. Neesham’s Phenomenal bowling helped New Zealand to win the third T20I Match against PAK.
PAK batting order fails in front of NZ bowlers:
The Pakistan batting department showed bad cricket in the 3rd T20I against New Zealand, Iftikhar Ahmed played a fantastic knock of 60 runs, but not enough to help Pakistan to chase the target.
Captain Babar failed this time to carry his form and got out at one run by Adam Milne in 2nd over. Neesham, Milne, Ravindra, and Sodhi destroyed the strong batting line-up of Pakistan at 159 runs. Only Two Pakistani batters has scored 20+ runs in this match.
The player of the match goes to Tom Latham for his excellent performance against Pakistan in the 3rd T20I match in Lahore. Latham hit a half-century in 49 balls, which helped New Zealand to set a decent total on board.
