Pakistan: Babar Azam’s team reaches milestone with 500 wins in ODIs: With a victory over New Zealand by five wickets in the opening game of their current five-match series, Pakistan earned their 500th ODI victory.

With their 949th ODI victory, Pakistan became the third side after Australia and India to surpass the 500-win plateau. India is second on the list behind Australia with 594 victories.

New Zealand were put into bat and scored a respectable 288/7 thanks to a brilliant 113 from Daryl Mitchell and a blistering 86 from opener Will Young. This served Pakistan its 500th ODI win.
