NZ vs SA: Kane Williamson Surpasses Virat Kohli and Don Bradman After Scoring Century in the First Test Match against South Africa: New Zealand and South Africa are playing the first test match at Bay Oval Cricket Ground in Mount Maunganui. While batting first, New Zealand played excellent cricket on Day 1, Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra scored 112 and 118 runs, respectively and led New Zealand to a strong position.

With this, Kane Williamson knocked his 30th century in test cricket therefore he surpassed Indian Star Player Virat Kohli and Australian Legendary batter Don Bradman. Currently, Kane Williamson is the no.1 test batter and he knocked his 30th test century in 97 test matches. Kane Williamson scored 112 runs in 259 balls and played a superb inning against the strong bowling department of South Africa.

As of now, Indian batter Virat Kohli has played 113 and scored 8848 runs with 29 centuries and 30 fifties in test cricket. The Australian legendary player Don Bradman scored 29 centuries in just 52 matches, which is very low compared to other players. Bradman scored 6996 runs in test cricket with 13 fifties and had a highest score of 334 runs.

NZ vs SA 2024 1st Test Day 1 Match Summary:

New Zealand batted first in the first test match of the two-matches test series against South Africa at Bay Oval Cricket Ground in Mount Maunganui. New Zealand had a poor start in the first test match as both the openers Tom Lathan and Devon Conway scored 20 and 1 runs, respectively.

However, Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra made a huge partnership of 219 runs for the third wicket and both the players led New Zealand to a strong position despite having a poor start from the openers. Kane Williamson scored 112 runs in 259 balls with 15 fours whereas youngster Rachin Ravindra scored 118 runs in 211 balls with 13 fours and one six so far in this match.
