Former Sri Lankan star Sanath Jayasuriya was known to be an aggressive opener. He had a strike rate of 91.20 in ODI cricket before the T20 era. Jayasuriya won many matches on his own. He played 445 ODIs and scored 13430 runs with 28 centuries. Jayasuriya finished with 270 sixes in ODI cricket.
3. Chris Gayle (WI) – 331 sixes
Chris Gayle was a beast when it came to powerhitting. He was the most fierce batter of his time, and his presence at the crease was always a pressure on the opposition because of his ability to hit big sixes. Gayle played 301 games and scored 10480 runs with 25 sixes. Gayle hit 331 sixes in ODI cricket.
2. Rohit Sharma (IND) – 331 sixes

Shahid Afridi introduced himself with a brute innings where he smashed a 36-ball ton in the ODI cricket. Since then, many things have changed, but what didn’t change was his way to bat. Afridi played 398 games and scored 8064 runs with 395 wickets. Afridi hit 351 sixes in ODI cricket.
