[LATEST] Asia Cup 2025 Points Table Super 4 After IND vs PAK

The Indian National Cricket Team defeated the Pakistan National Cricket Team by 6 wickets in their second encounter in the Asia Cup 2025 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Indian batters played a dominating cricket against Pakistani bowlers and easily chased the target of 172 runs in 18.5 overs. The Player of the Match was Abhishek Sharma, who played a fantastic knock of 74 runs in 39 balls.

It was quite a one-sided game between India and Pakistan, but still better than the last time. Pakistani batters did quite well in this game, but bowlers were not upto the mark; otherwise, this chase might have been difficult for the Indian Team. Sahibzada Farhan played a decent knock of 58 runs in 45 balls and gave a good start to his team.

India vs Pakistan Super 4 Match Highlights:

Indian Captain Suryakumar Yadav chose to field first after winning the toss, as there was a chance of dew in the second inning. Pakistan came to bat in the first inning, they had a quite good start, especially as compared to the last clash between both the two teams. They lost only one wicket in the power play and had good runs on the scoreboard. Sahibzada Farhan was taking charge over Indian Bowlers from one end.

While Other batters were trying to get used to the wicket however Sahibzada got out by scoring 58 runs in 45 balls. Other players couldn’t hold for long on the crease, but they also didn’t quite well. Saim Ayub and Faheem Ashraf played a small but impactful inning of 21 and 20 runs, respectively, for their team.

At the end of the first inning, Pakistan managed to put 171 runs on the scoreboard, which is a decent target, especially compared to the last clash, where they made 127 runs. However, India’s bowling in this match wasn’t good at all. Shivam Dube got two wickets, whereas Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya took one wicket each.

But, Indian young openers started the chase with some fireworks, they bombarded boundaries against Pakistani bowlers and gave a good start to the team. India didn’t lose a single wicket in the powerplay. Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill were playing sensible but aggressive cricket. However, Gill got out by scoring 47 runs in 28 balls, but Abhishek stood for a long time.

Later in the 13th over, Abhishek also got out, but he played a superb inning of 74 runs in just 39 balls and knocked five sixes to the Pakistani bowlers. After him, Tilak Verma took charge and finished the game by scoring 30 runs, and led India to defeat Pakistan for the second time in this tournament.
