T20 World Cup 2024 Points Table After India vs USA: The Indian Team won the match against the USA by 7 wickets at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. After Winning the game against the USA, India registered their third victory of the tournament and got a ticket for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 round. With this, India is present at the top position in the latest T20 World Cup 2024 Group A Points Table with six points and has a good net run rate of +1.137.
However, the USA has played phenomenal cricket against India, which is currently the No. 1 T20I Team in the ICC Team Rankings. USA bowlers Saurabh Netravalkar took two crucial wickets from the Indian Team which includes the wickets of Virat Kohli and Skipper Rohit Sharma. USA is in second position in the Group A T20 World Cup 2024 Points Table with four points and it is expected that they will qualify for Super 8.
While batting first, USA were able to score 110 runs on the scoreboard with a loss of 8 wickets, Steven Taylor and Nitish Kumar played a crucial knocks of 24 and 27 runs, respectively. But, the USA wasn’t playing with their regular skipper Monank Patel as he was suffering from the niggle.
From the Indian Bowling Department, Arshdeep Singh bowled an excellent spell as he took four wickets and gave only 9 runs in his four overs spell. However, Hardik Pandya got two wickets whereas Axar Patel took one wicket.
Indian Team successfully chased the target of 111 runs in just 18.2 overs but it was an easy task for the team as USA gave good competition to the Indian batters. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma got out by scoring just 0 and 3 runs in this march but Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube made a crucial partnership for the 3rd wicket.
Suryakumar Yadav played a match-winning knock of 50 runs in 49 balls whereas Shivam Dube contributed crucial 31 runs and both led Indian Team to the Super 8 round.
