RCB vs RR Match Highlights: The Royal Challengers Bangalore are once again heading to their home ground at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, where the home side has lost 3 games in a season as well. RCB have won their 5 remaining matches at different away venues across India but are looking for form in their own den.
Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, are going through a very bad phase, having lost two consecutive games in the final over of the game. First, against the Capitals, they failed to chase 9 runs in the final over and eventually lost the game in the super-over. The next match was a similar condition against LSG, where they lost by 2 runs, failing to secure just 8 runs in the final over with 5 wickets in hand.
Royals would look to bounce back, having lost 6 matches already, as now losing any further matches will end their hopes for the season, except for exceptional miracles, while RCB, under new skipper Rajat Patidar, would be in the hunt for their first win at home.

RCB vs RR Match Highlights: RCB cross 200-run mark for the first time at Chinnaswamy this season

Royal Challengers Bangalore marked a decent batting performance for the first time at Chinnaswamy this season; veteran batter Virat Kohli has scored the most runs at this venue, even more than at his home ground in Delhi. Virat is now officially the player with most T20 runs on a single venue, i.e., Chinnaswamy Stadium. Kohli once again stood a chance to outclass the Royals bowlers, having scored a 42-ball 70, building a great partnership alongside Devdutt Padikkal, who has backed himself with good knocks in back-to-back matches.
RCB needed a good finish to their innings, as Tim David once again served alongside Jitesh Sharma, who added valuable runs towards the back end as the duo gave RCB their first team double-hundred at Chinnaswamy.
RCB vs RR Match Highlights: Jaiswal’s explosive start in vain as the Royals’ lower-order stumble’s once again

Coming in to chase a huge 206 after they faced two humiliating losses, the new RR opening duo backed their side with a dynamic power play. The Indian left-handed maestro Yashasvi Jaiswal climbed onto the RCB bowlers and smashed 49 runs off just 19 balls before falling to Hazlewood, the most successful bowler for RCB.
Jaiswal gave RR innings the momentum they needed in such a big chase, while the skipper and Rana backed the middle overs with their respective 20s. However, the duo of Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer were once again entrusted with the finishing role, having been left with a chase of 66 runs in the last 6 overs.
However, this time around, the Royals didn’t disappoint their fans with a narrow loss; they opted for a bigger loss this time around after Shimron Hetmyer was dismissed by Josh Hazlewood, who picked up his 150th wicket in the history of T20 cricket. Jurel didn’t let the Royals hope end with a blistering 22-run over against Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the 18th over of the chase, which left 18 runs remaining for the two final overs.
However, RCB’s trump card with the ball, Josh Hazlewood, had other plans in his head as he picked back-to-back wickets in the 19th over, dismissing the likes of Dhruv Jurel (47) and Jofra Archer (0). The Aussie speedster missed his hat trick against Hasaranga but ended with stunning figures of 4/33 in his 4 overs. RCB won the match by 11 runs.
