IPL 2023: Legendary Royal Challengers Bangalore player Virat Kohli arrived in Bengaluru on Saturday in preparation for the 2023 Indian Premier League season, which kicks off on March 31.

Virat Kohli, a former captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), is about to join the organisation in time for the IPL 2023.
Prior to the 16th season of the lucrative league, the right-handed batter will be fired up as RCB pursues their first championship. He has been in outstanding form for the Indian squad over the past few games, scoring hundreds in ODIs against Sri Lanka and a record-breaking Test century against Australia at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

The former Indian captain also holds the record for most runs scored in the tournament’s history, scoring 6624 runs in 223 games at an average of 36.19 and compiling five centuries, four of which came in the 2016 edition when he scored a tournament-high 973 runs.
But, Kohli’s season last year was dismal as he only managed 341 runs in 16 matches at a 22.73 average with two fifties.
In a video message shared by the team’s official Twitter account, Kohli spoke about his previous year’s difficulties and how he overcame them by quitting the sport.
On April 2, RCB will begin their 2023 season in Bangalore against the Mumbai Indians. This year, Faf du Plessis will serve as the RCB’s captain once more.
When the Royal Challengers needed to chase down 169 runs, the Delhi-born batsman hit his highest total of 73 against the Gujarat Titans, which they completed in 18.4 overs with eight wickets remaining. He will strive to perform better in the competition this year.
