IPL 2023: DC’s Batting Collapsed except Axar, Warner and Manish, no batter had scored 20+ runs and DC got all out. Piyush and Behrendorff taken three wickets each. Axar Played an impressive knock of 54 runs and led his team to have 172 runs on board.

A Decent Partnership by David Warner and Manish Pandey:

In the first Inning, David Warner and Manish Pandey Made a Decent partnership of 43 runs and gave DC a good start, but it didn’t take long as Manish Pandey got out in the 9th over.

Manish Pandey has scored 26 runs with a strike rate 144.44, whereas David Warner has scored 51 runs with a strike rate of 108.51, and he hits six fours.

Piyush Chawla and Behrendorff clam down DC batters:

Hrithik Shokeen took the wicket of Prithvi Shaw in the 4th over, and then after him, Piyush Chawla, in the middle over, took three crucial wickets of Delhi Capitals.

He has taken the wicket of Manish Pandey, Roman Powell, and Lalit Yadav. Piyush bowls are an outstanding spell and just 22 runs with an economy rate of 5.50.

Jason Behrendorff in the last few overs took three wickets and controls the flow runs in the death overs.

Again David Warner Knocked fifty and played well:

Today, David Waner plays well, but his strike rate is relatively low, and he was just rotating the strike and not hitting boundaries. Warner has scored 51 runs with a low strike rate 108.51.

If Warner plays with a little more strike rate, there would be a good score on board.

DC’s batting collapsed again:

Only David Warner, Manish Pandey, and Axar Patel have scored 20+ runs from the Delhi side, and this bad performance by their Batting department raises a concern. Warner first partnered well with Manish Pandey and then With Axar Patel.

Axar Patel took charge of hitting boundaries in the last few overs of the first Inning and led his team to have a decent total on board. Axar has Scored 54 runs with a strike rate of 216 and he hits five sixes.
