IPL 2023: CSK Won the Match by 7 Wickets, Devon Conway impressive Knock of 77 runs lead CSK to get Early momentum in the match and Ruturaj Gaikwad also played well and scored 35 runs whereas Ravindra Jadeja Took three important wickets.
SRH showed bad performance, scored only 134 runs on board whereas Mayank Markande bowled well and took two wickets and Abhishek Sharma knocked 34 runs in 26 balls with three fours and one six.
A good start from CSK Batters:
In the Second Inning, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway both played well and made an impactful partnership of 87 runs, and this partnership almost took away the match from SRH.
Devon Conway Played Another good Inning and scored 77 runs with a strike rate of 135.09, whereas Ruturaj got run out in the 11th over by scoring 35 runs in 30 balls. In the end, Moeen Ali knock four in the 18th and CSK won
A bad performance came from SRH Bowlers:
SRH has a good bowling attack but failed to take wickets in this match against CSK, as Ruturaj And Conway have made a good partnership and got early momentum.
SRH’s Current leading bowler, Marco Jansen, got expensive as he gave 37 runs in 3 overs of his spell. Mayank Markande Bowls well, but it was a little late and took two wickets and bowled a very economical spell.
SRH Middle Order Concern:
In the First Inning, SRH started well but didn’t make it for long as Harry Brook got out in the 5th over by scoring 18 runs. Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi Both made a small but essential partnership of 36 runs for the 2nd wicket.
After it, no batsmen had made a good partnership, and got out by scoring a few runs. Abhishek Sharma scored 34 runs, whereas Rahul Tripathi knocked 21 runs. In the last few overs, Marco Jansen Played a little inning, scored 17 runs, and helped his team score 134 runs on board.
Ravindra Jadeja Shines Again hence CSK Won:
CSK performed excellently with the ball and gained momentum in the middle overs as the Spinners bowled good overs. Ravindra Jadeja took three important wickets with an economy rate of 5.50, whereas Maheesh Theekshana, Akash, and Matheesha Pathirana took one wicket each.
