IPL 2025: The Royal Challengers Bangalore have advanced to the finals of IPL 2025. This is the first final they have qualified for after having starred in 3 finals before this. They played the last IPL final back in 2016 when they lost to the Sunrisers Hyderabad; since then, despite several playoffs, RCB could never make it to the finals in the IPL. Punjab Kings will now get another opportunity in the Qualifier 2 against the winner of the Eliminator.
Virat Kohli was among the batters to star in the 1st Qualifier, though he could not advance further into the Orange Cap list after being dismissed for 12 runs against Kyle Jamieson.
