IPL 2023, SRH vs DC: DC won by seven runs and Axar Patel played a really good cricket today and performed with both bat and ball as he scored 34 runs and took two wickets.

Manish Pandey played an important inning and scored 34 runs. Washington Sunder also played well, he took three wickets and knocked 24 runs. Mayank Agarwal scored 49 runs.

DC Bowlers defended low total hence DC Won:

Axar Patel broke some partnerships in this match and took two wickets with an economy rate of 5.25. Anrich Nortje also took two wickets but didn’t justifies his abilities as he gave 33 runs. Kuldeep Yadav and Ishant Sharma took one wicket each.

Mukesh Kumar bowled a perfect 20th over and defended 12 runs, hence DC won the match.

SRH batters struggle a bit:

In The Second Inning, Mayank Agarwal looked in a good mindset and played well, but again he didn’t make the inning into a big one and lost his wicket by scoring 49 runs and hitting seven fours.

Heinrich Klassen played an interesting knock and tried to finish the match but got out and scored 31 runs with a good strike rate of 172.22. Washington Sunder performed well with the ball and also with the bat and scored 24 runs, but didn’t able to win the game for his team.

DC batting collapsed again:

In the first inning. David Warner and Mitchell Marsh batted well in the powerplay, but Mitchell Marsh got out by scoring 25 runs, and after him, David Warner also got out by hitting a shot over the leg side and scored 21 runs only.

In the Middle overs, SRH returned to the game as Washington Sunder took three wickets in the 8th over.

Axar Patel and Manish Pandey made an important partnership of 69 runs for the 7th wicket. Axar Patel knocked 34 runs with four fours, whereas Manish Pandey scored 34 runs in 27 balls, both of them played slowly, and DC made 144 runs in 20 overs.

Washington Sunder took three wickets in an over:

Washington Sunder bowled well and took some important wickets, overall, he took three wickets and bowled at an economy rate of 7.00.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar showed another level and took two wickets and gave only 11 runs in his four overs spell, which is truly phenomenal in the T20 cricket. T. Natarajan got one wicket today.
