KKR vs RCB

KKR vs RCB: Both franchises started their IPL 2023 campaign in an unstable fashion; however, in later matches, both teams put on a promising performance, in which the Challengers excelled more than the Knights. The Knight Riders and the Challengers both performed overwhelmingly, whether on the winning or losing side.

Let’s take a look at the 5 most highly scorching battles between the players from both sides:

1. Virat Kohli vs Suyash Sharma

The celebrated Indian opener has been one of RCB’s most trustworthy players over all these years. KKR lost four straight matches, and to reclaim their momentum in the tournament, they first need to get this man back to the pavilion. Spotting his weakness against leg-spinners, Suyash, who is inexperienced yet KKR’s most worthy bowler this tournament, would be used against the star batter.

2. Glenn Maxwell vs Sunil Narine

The Aussie batter has been a veteran of the T20 format and has been a ferocious striker of the white ball. His commanding form has been of great concern for the opposition, and Narine can be the bowler to deceive him. Although Narine has not been in great form so far this season, he has a pretty decent record against Glen Maxwell in the Indian Premier League and his experience might be of great help.

3. Jason Roy vs Md. Siraj

The English batter has shown his caliber in the IPL match against the Super Kings, and the Chinnaswamy track would give him even better 6-hitting conditions. Siraj is their lead bowler and often delivers consistently with the new ball, and the same can be done against Roy. Mohammad Siraj has been in brilliant form so far in the IPL and there is no reason to believe that he won’t repeat the same tomorrow.

4. Faf du Plessis vs Varun Chakravarthy

When it comes to the power play, RCB’s most reliable batter, their skipper, takes on the charge as he handles pace in the best way. With Chakravarthy already having dismissed him once, he would look to do the same.

5. Rinku Singh vs Harshal Patel

Rinku has performed eminently towards the end of the innings, has aced the role of RR’s finisher, and has won several matches for them. RCB, on the other hand, has once again seen the rise of Harshal as a death-over specialist.
