IPL 2023: Gujarat Titans won the match against Mumbai Indians by 55 runs, Noor Ahmed and Rashid Khan took three and two wickets, respectively. Shubman Gill(56) and David Miller(46), both batted well whereas Abhinav Manohar also contributed 46 runs.

Piyush Chawla was the only bowler who bowled well from Mumbai’s side, took two wickets, and made 18 runs. Nehal Wadhera Knocked 40 runs with three sixes and three fours.

MI Batters Lost Their Wicket:

Mumbai’s batting collapsed entirely in the second inning as they tried to hit every ball and easily gave their wicket. Cameroon Green Played quite well but scored 33 runs, whereas Suryakumar Yadav looked in good form but was caught by Noor Ahmed.

In the last few overs, Nehal Wadhera, A young Player, looked in good intent, scored 40 runs in 21 balls, and tried to finish the match, but the target was too high, and the required run rate was also.

In the Second Inning, Both Afghani Spin bowlers took away the match from Mumbai Indians. Noor Ahmed took three wickets and bowled well spell at an economy rate of 9.25 whereas Rashid Khan has taken two important wickets.

Mohammed Shami got wicket-less but bowled an excellent spell with an economy rate of 4.50. Hardik Pandya and Mohit Sharma took one and two wickets, respectively, but Interestingly Gujarat Titans Skipper Hardik Pandya took the wickets of MI’s Skipper Rohit Sharma.

A Decent Start by Gujarat Titans:

Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha came to open for GT, but MI bowlers kept pressure from the start of the match, and as a result, GT lost Wriddhiman Saha’s wicket after him Hardik Pandya also got out by scoring just 13 runs.

Shubman Gill Showed good class, knocked some brilliant classical shots, and made his third fifty this season. Shubman scored 56 runs with seven fours and a strike rate of 164.71.

Gujarat’s comeback in the match:

Abhinav Manohar and David Miller made a crucial partnership of 71 runs in the middle overs. This partnership shifts the game’s momentum toward Gujarat Titans, and Both Lead Gujarat to have 207 runs on board.

Abhinav(42) with sixes and four, whereas David Miller(46) with a strike rate of 209.09. Rahul Tewatia played an impressive inning and scored 20 runs in just five balls.

MI’s inexperience bowling department:

MI bowled well in the first few overs, but after it, they lost momentum and gave many runs as Camron Green bowled only two overs and gave 39 runs, whereas Riley Meredith gave 49 runs in his spell.

Piyush Chawla showed his experience and took two wickets, but he also gave 17 runs in his 4th over. Arjun Tendulkar, Riley Meredith, Kumar Kartikeya and Jason Behrendroff Took one wickets each.
