1) Shivam Mavi was sold for 6 Crores in TATA IPL 2023 Auction to the Gujarat Titans:
Shivam Mavi has always managed to get the big bucks at the TATA IPL Auction. He is always in demand. Young Indian pacers were a rare commodity and hence his value inflated. There were many teams bidding for Shivam Mavi but the Gujarat Titans bagged them.
2) Mukesh Kumar was sold to the Delhi Capitals for 5.5 Crores:
Mukesh Kumar was sold to the Delhi Capitals for 5.5 Crores. The Capitals were looking for an Indian pacer in place of Shardul Thakur and in the form of Kumar, they got exactly that. Mukesh has been associated with India A squad. Mukesh impressed in the Irani Trophy. He was playing for “Rest of India” in that game. He plays in the Indian domestic circuit for the Bengal Cricket Association.
3) Vivrant Sharma was sold for 2.2 Crores in TATA IPL 2023 Auction to the Sunrisers Hyderabad:
When Vivrant Sharma’s name was called out, Irfan Pathan seemed like a proud dad. These young boys from Jammu and Kashmir are doing great in the IPL. The IPL 2023 Auction had the opportunity of a lifetime for Vivrant Sharma. The Sunrisers Hyderabad shoot their shot and got this all-rounder. He was a net bowler for them.
4) KS Bharat was sold for 1.2 Crores in TATA IPL 2023 Auction to the Gujarat Titans:
KS Bharat has been around for a very long time. Bharat has previously played for RCB and the Delhi Capitals. Bharat is the best wicketkeeper in the domestic circuit. It is the presence of Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, and Ishan Kishan in the national team that has kept him away from getting his big break. He went to the Gujarat Titans for 1.2 crores. They were looking for a stable Indian batter and they got what they wanted.
5) N Jagadeesan was sold to the Kolkata Knight Riders for 90 Lakhs:
N Jagadeesan is a really good pick by the KKR management. The boy from Tamil Nadu will be opening the innings for them. They lacked a solid opener and have picked an elite one in the auction. His VJT 2022 numbers a record-breaking. He broke the record for the most 100s scored in a VJT season. He also broke the record for the highest individual score in a limited overs List A game. For 90 lakhs, the KKR management has got a steal.
